Our Story

Founded in 2001, Trak-Kit was born from a simple but powerful idea: what if screens weren’t fixed to a wall? What if they could move—fluidly, elegantly, and intelligently—adapting to how we live, work, and connect?

It started with a team of forward-thinking designers and fabricators who shared a vision: to break free from the limitations of static wall mounts and reimagine how media is experienced. What followed was the creation of a patented track-based system that enables screens to move linearly, rotate, and shift vertically—delivering a dynamic, immersive interaction with technology in any environment.

At the heart of this innovation is Farshad “Shadi” Shahrokhi, Trak-kit’s founder and creative force. With a background in architecture and design from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Sci-Arc, and Columbia University, Shadi has long pursued the intersection of function, movement, and beauty. His lifelong passion for architecture, audio/visual tech, and spatial freedom laid the foundation for Trak-Kit’s evolution.

Driven by a desire to merge form and function, he led the development of a system that not only moves screens—but also elevates the design of the space they live in. From sleek cable management to custom finishes, every detail is crafted with intention.

Since its debut, Trak-kit has earned recognition across residential, commercial, and institutional markets. Our solutions have been embraced by homeowners looking to enhance entertainment and productivity, as well as businesses and architects seeking flexible, integrated technology for modern workspaces, retail, hospitality, and beyond.

At our core, we believe in architectural freedom—giving people and spaces the power to adapt. Whether it’s in a home, office, gallery, or control room, Trak-kit brings mobility, versatility, and refined design to the forefront of modern living.

As we continue to innovate, we remain focused on what inspired us from the beginning: empowering people to do more with their space, and rethinking what’s possible when technology moves with you.
